Uploading Content

Images, video, PDFs and embeds — what each route does, and where deleted content goes.

Open Content. Two buttons add media:

  • Add Content — upload an image, video or PDF directly. Images up to 25 MB, video up to 100 MB; see Content requirements below.
  • PDFs — pick a PDF under Add Content and each page is turned into a slide, then collected into a playlist named after the file. Up to 50 pages. The conversion runs in your browser, so the PDF itself is never uploaded — only the page images. Uploads are paced to stay under the server’s rate limit, so a document longer than ~19 pages pauses roughly a minute between batches; keep the tab open until it finishes.
  • Add Embed — paste a YouTube, Vimeo, Google Slides, or general web URL. Some sites block embedding via X-Frame-Options; the player shows a clear error message when this happens.

Templates are managed separately: build a reusable design under Templates, fill in its variables to create an instance, then add that instance to a playlist like any other content item.

Soft-deleted content lives in Trash for 30 days and can be restored. After 30 days, files are permanently purged and cannot be recovered.
