Single upcoming events, community boards, small venues
A live render, produced by the same engine your screens run — not a screenshot.
A date block beside the details: month, day, title, time, location, and a gradient you pick the ends of. Seven fields is about a minute of work, which is the right cost for something you may put up for one week. The oversized date is what makes it work at a distance — people read the day first and decide whether to read the rest. Use it when you have one event to promote; move to Event Announcement 2 when you need the extra billing, badges and description lines.
