Digital signage on LG (webOS)
Works on sets from 2020 onward, with a capable browser built in. Older LG TVs can't run the player, so use an HDMI stick.

Browser built in
The browser
Web Browser. Shipped as "Web Browser" in the launcher bar. Sets from 2020 onward run the player fine; allow a few seconds after power-on for the browser to start. Earlier models ship a browser engine too old for it, and no setting changes that. If the TV stays on "Starting the player…", plug a streaming stick into the HDMI port instead.
Opening the player
- Press Home and open Web Browser from the launcher (check the full app list if it isn't on the bar).
- Enter play.sheencast.com in the address bar.
- On your computer, sign in at app.sheencast.com, open Screens, choose this screen, and click Generate Pairing Code. Type the digits it shows into the box on the TV. Codes last 10 minutes. If one runs out, use New Code.
- Add the page to Bookmarks, then set it as the home page under the browser Settings → On Startup / Home Page so the player reloads by itself.
- Hide the browser toolbar via the browser menu (often Full Screen or Hide Menu) for a clean picture on the wall.
Settings that keep the screen on

Known quirks
- webOS may suspend a background browser. Leave the browser as the foreground app and don't switch inputs.
- Some carrier or hotel-configured sets ship with the browser removed. If Web Browser is absent and can't be installed, use an HDMI stick.
