Bakeries, patisseries, coffee shops with a counter display

A two-column counter menu with forty-three fields — sections, item names, descriptions and prices, plus a header stamp for the day or the baking time. That last field is the one worth using: "baked 6am" does more for a display case than another adjective. It is built to be read from a line at about six feet, so items get a line of description rather than a paragraph. Change a price in a field and every screen in the store is correct before the next customer reaches the register.
