Repo Activity (Terminal) template
Engineering floors, dev agencies, hackathons, computer labs
Runs as shipped; your own API key is optional. The preview above is real data, fetched live without any credential. Adding your own key (GitHub token — OPTIONAL. Public repos need none; add a fine-grained READ-ONLY token for private repos or a higher rate limit) lets the board read private data and raises the rate limit the service applies to your screens.
Any key you add is stored with the template in your Sheencast account and is sent only from your own screens to that service.
The template running live, rendered the way your screens render it.
Stars, forks, open issues and the six newest open pull requests, in green phosphor behind scanlines. This is the one board in the set that needs no credential at all: public repositories answer the GitHub API anonymously, so it shows real data the moment you name a repo. A read-only token is optional, and only for private repositories or a higher rate limit. The pull request list is the useful part — a team that can see the queue from the corridor tends to review faster than one that has to open a tab to find out.
